About ARA CSR Fund
Asian Relocation Association (ARA) has established the corporate social responsibility fund (CSR Fund) to offer members the opportunity to be a good Global citizen and also to support our Asian vision. ARA is committed to giving back to the community where we have our annual meeting each year in a different location or country through a combination of donations, sponsorships, and volunteerism.
About Baan Nokkamin Foundation
Baan Nokkamin Foundation is a Christian organization that offers assistance to orphan, street children, underprivileged children, the elderly and addicts by developing and changing their lives, and strengthening them emotionally so that they are ready to face the world in the future.
In the middle of the chaos, we often see those street children wandering around everywhere in our society. These little canary birds used to live in unhappy families and until the day came when they could no longer put up with it. They chose to fly away as their hearts told them to, and nothing can hold them back.
Mr.Erwin Groebli, a Swiss missionary, met a group of street children in Ramkhamhaeng, Bangkok Metropolis. He felt very sorry for those children because they had no place to sleep, no food to eat, and no one to take care of them or offer them any help. Those children felt the love that Mr. Erwin gave to them so they invited more friends to come and meet him. Therefore a suitable place to accommodate those children was needed, and that was the beginning of the foundation. In 1989, the establishment of Baan Nokkamin Foundation was legitimately authorized by the Ministry of Interior as per Registration. Currently, there are 7 branch offices of Baan Nokkamin Foundation spreading in several regions of Thailand that foster over 250 children and having the aspiration to “take care of and develop the lives of the children until they are able to fly with their own wings”.
